Living up to the traditions that have become a trademark of iPlex, a quarterly dinner was organized on Saturday, 29th August. As iPlex believes in workspace having both professionalism and fun, the dinner was more of a get-together.

Organized efficiently by our HR team, the event was held at the back lawn of our office. Decorated beautifully with colorful lights, the place looked excellent aesthetically as contrast of Violet marquee with white seating arrangement made a great combination.

Dressed in formal attire, the employees started arriving at 7:00 PM. Before the ceremony formally started, photo sessions took place as all of the employees assembled on the stage to pose for pictures. While the employees chattered, our photographer went around taking candid pictures of them laughing and sharing light moments.

The award ceremony started officially as Shumaila took the mic as a comparer. She called Ali Muhammad-Our CEO, Komal Riaz-Director iPlex and Aftab Khattak-Director of Finance & Operations on stage to give away the appreciation certificates.

Employees were awarded the certificates, acknowledging them for being always punctual and working for iPlex dedicatedly.  Shakir Hussain, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Danish, Sikandar Ali, Shumaila Batool, Abdul Hameed, Shahid Iqbal, Kamran Arshad, Umer Farooq, Waqar Mobeen Malik, Umer Ali, Rawal John were employees of the month.

Muhammad Danish and Shumaila Khattak were two consistent employees who were always punctual, throughout this time.

After the ceremony, dinner was served as everyone had fun dining together, grooving to the catchy songs. The opinion about food was unanimous – it was delicious. All the employees ate to full stomachs.

It was an excellent occasion for the employees to get together and celebrate the spirit of professionalism under the considerate and supportive administration of iPlex.

iPlex is on a recruiting drive these days; and we are looking for fresh, talented graduates. Following our usual practice, our team was given an opportunity to attend the job fair at KICSIT. The students we met were in their final year and had recently begun weighing their career opportunities.

The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran. The university Dean spoke to his students, telling them about future prospects and personal growth. He emphasized the fact that this was the precise time for each and every student to focus on their career choices.

The university administration invited our CEO to speak about entrepreneurship and how to take business ideas forward. Speaking to the students of KICSIT in a candid speech, our CEO shared his life experiences with the young aspirants. He took them on the rollercoaster ride through the earlier stages of his life when he was a young and ambitious man who wanted to do so much in life, but found himself confused and daunted by the first rejection he faced during his application process. Although he was slightly unsettled, he did not allow this turn of events to shake his resolve; instead he began to dream up a new business idea and focus on it as his goal for success. Partnering with his Pakistani friend Mohammed Ali he started a software house here in Pakistan which has now become one of the biggest and fast-growing companies in the region.

Inspired by the journey of our CEO, the students vowed to work hard and dream big in order to ultimately achieve true success.

Finally Students exhibited their Final Year Projects to all attending guests. Our CEO was particularly impressed by few of the projects and appreciated the efforts of these young professionals. We conducted many interviews as well, which went really well and we’re looking forward to working with several of the talented and energetic students of KICSIT.

Eid Celebrations At iPlex

As the Holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, the entire Muslim world rejoices the upcoming Eid-Ul-Fitr. This day of great joy is a reward for all Muslims who have spent the month of Ramadan fasting to rid themselves of sins committed in the past year. Eid-Ul-Fitr, in Pakistan and across all Muslim nations, is an esteemed day for delight; and one of two prestigious occasions when we spread unsurmountable happiness, delight, pleasure, and glee to each individual we hold dear.

To encompass our joy for the coming holidays; and to celebrate the spirit of the Eid, iPlex held a small event as a means to show our gratitude to the employees for their professional attitude at work during Ramadan. The Eid event took place within the office premises and the entire officewas decorated with iPlex-themed balloons, ribbons and flexes; wishing a very happy Eid to all the employees. The main hall looked spectacular with cheerful multi-colored lights and balloons.

The employees were not made aware of the event beforehand and for this reason it came as a huge surprise to many when they arrived at work to see all the celebratory props in place, the day before ChaandRaat. After Iftaar all employees were asked to assemble in the main hall for an arm-wrestling contest; everyone was categorized into two groups, Skinny ones and fats ones, an intra-group contest then ensued. Competitors were chosen at random through an ‘(un)lucky draw’; and after many rounds of vigorous competition, Muhammed Afzal and Omer Farooq, stood as our Finalist. What followed was a true clash of the Titans, and from the ashes from of this great struggle Mohammed Afzal rose as the king of the ring, the victor of iPlex’s grand competition.

Upon the end of our most monumental battle yet at Iplex, the entire staff was called together to celebrate with a company hosted dinner. Our CEO, Marco Spijkerman, was immersed in all activities and was given the honor of beginning the dinner with a celebratory cake cutting. Marco wished all the employees a very happy Eid, and we gathered together for a group picture of the entire staff.

Some time off, from the hectic routine, gave the employees some room to unwind and cool off. As always, iPlex lived up to its traditions of sharing the love and happiness with its employees, and we look forward to more recreational events to allow the employees to loosen up.

The Latest event in iPlex’s publicity drive was a talent hunt sponsored at Mohammed Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), the event took place at the MAJU campus on Saturday the 23rd of May. The Event aimed at providing an opportunity to fresh graduates who are ambitious about starting their career in the field of web-development or web-design.

For the event iPlex took an 8 person team which included project managers, developers, and human resource agents. The team arrived at MAJU University early on the morning, in order to get a head start on the days affairs. Although the team had expected a decent turnout, the response they got from the MAJU student body was overwhelming. Students crowded the iPlex camp in ridiculous numbers, so much so that the team was baffled.

Our team provided the students with essential details regarding to new technologies available to work with at iPlex, as well as an overview of the agency’s business structure. The students showed great enthusiasm, and were attracted to the company’s congenial atmosphere along with our amicable management.

Aside from several of interviews conducted of freshly graduate Students, the human resource team conducted several interviews of students who were still midway through their degree; this was for a newly established internship program that will be offered by iPlex in the month of July.

The overall event was a laudable success as many of the students sent us feedback appreciating iPlex’s effort and time. We are in-turn extremely grateful to the MAJU management and student body for their fantastic response to our team. The event was brought to a close with an Alumni dinner, this dinner sponsored by iPlex was a symbol of friendship and an attempt to help prospective employees understand the definition of teamwork and devotion here at iPlex.

FAST Career Counseling Seminar 2015

The remarkable job fair at FAST-NUCES had our inbox filled with feedback from the students. They were excited and happy for being interviewed by the panel of iPlex. As the students were about to graduate, they all were looking to work at companies that could enhance their skills and brighten their future.

After a successful Job Fair, iPlex got an opportunity to attend a seminar on career counseling at FAST-NUCES. In an excellent move, the FAST admin decided to invite professionals from various companies to come and counsel the soon-to-graduate students regarding the latest market trends and how they can gear their careers in right direction.

Our team consisted of Ali Muhammad (our CEO) Faaiz Jamali, Komal Riaz and Shahzad Sadiq. At the event, one of the most senior project managers and developers at iPlex, Faaiz Jamali spoke about the importance of learning new languages. He stressed on the need to learn the latest technologies while having a strong hold on the conventional ones. He enlightened the students regarding the  platforms that are preferred by the clients these days. He advised the students to go for their Final Year Projects that have real-life worth and can be utilized. He emphasized on the importance of focusing on the FYP, keeping in mind the commercial value and market demands.

In an unprecedented move, iPlex announced to sponsor one of the final projects of FAST-NUCES. iPlex took this step to encourage the talented students as there are money constraints that limit the creativity of students.

iPlex is striving hard to achieve perfection with an aim to drive the careers of young students in the right direction.

Ever since its inception, iPlex has been striving hard to achieve the perfection. For this purpose, we use best solutions that are being practiced in the industry. Having the tendency to grow rapidly, we are always looking for young and talented people who are willing to work hard. We recently got a chance to be the part of a Job Fair held at one of the most prestigious universities of Islamabad, FAST-NUCES.

A team of iPlex consisting of the CEOs, HR executives and Project managers went to FAST campus. We were given overwhelming response, both by the students and faculty members. After setting up our camp, our CEOs visited other camps and saw the student projects. They were highly impressed by the innovation students had shown in their projects.

We interviewed several students and were impressed by their ambitions and enthusiasm. One such student, Adeel Omer Malik had developed an app named “GetAlong”. It enables travelers to synchronize on-site travelling groups, managing their travel diaries and to ensure immediate response in case of emergency using GSM based Network.

We were followed up by around 200 students after the fair who showed interest in joining our company for a bright future.

iPlex feels obliged and overwhelmed for being warmly welcomed by FAST administration and faculty. We are looking forward to work with the exceptional students of FAST, believing that working together; we can bring about the change and contribute in nurturing the future of this talented generation.

7) One of the features of Apple Watch is when you raise your wrist, a flower blooms on the screen. The view looks pretty real but a high resolution camera was used to capture the scene.
